Act 4 / Video / Action for Rocket Headquarters / Goldenrod

[A man appears on screen with a seviper poking his head in and an ekans around his shoulders. He is wearing a plain black long sleeved shirt, looking through some warm clothes in a store.]

I was gone for a while, but I am glad to be back. We lost the things we had saved up until now, says Gaskell.

I miss Ruskin, says John.

[OOC: Snake can also be found in Rocket headquarters later in the day, checking out the TVs and video games and trying to figure out how they work.]

[Denzel just stares at nothing in particular as he picks his brain. Strange everyone else he's spoken too has been told you go home and others have gone home and came back.

Meanwhile, Growlithe is greeting Snake back.]

[Growlithe likes this, yes she does and gives Snake a few licks.]

I can't help you with the video games but I could tell you about the television?

And perhaps, you'd like to know what's happened since I haven't seen you?

Oh! Someone here that I know, knows you. His name is Joker.

[Crocker stares with the mixed signals and not sure how to read that. Snake himself looked a little shaken but glad that Joker is here. The man shakes his head he's not sure on how to reply to that.]

Good guy that Joker. Good guy.

[Which is truthful Crocker didn't mind Joker outside of maybe smiling a bit too much. Wait -]

Gaskell?!

I see you have a new Pokemon. I suppose that is to be expected.

[For a moment Crocker fixes his glasses before going into a teacher mode, so if Snake’s mind should wander because of the lecture his students wouldn’t argue that.]

You see the antennas on top of the TV are used as a receiver to pick up invisible signals and once picked up inside the TV, the CRT displays the image by scanning a beam of electrons across the screen.
Mmmm.. This is usually where I go off on a rant about fairies making anything – POSSIBLE. Which they can!.. I’m just not as familiar with Clefairies over the fairies from home.

[At one point Denzel got the idea that Snake was not following he can tell that look by now. All that explaining for nothing.]

You just take this remote here like so and click and point.

[The box 'magically' turns on,]

[Denzel nods] Exactly. Not that there's much to watch outside of the news.

...Quite we're usually a part of - but that's besides the point.

[He just doesn't watch cartoons is all. Denzel offers Snake the remote.]

You want to try it?

Bah! Cartoons. What a feeble -minded way to waste the afternoon.

[He'd rather be doing data basing work over this and that is when Crocker looks over at Snake and his Pokemon and notices that they're in a trace. Denzel tests by waving his hand slowly in front of Snake's face before taking the remote and switching the TV off.]

You may want to be careful next time.
