[Joker's voice is a chaotic mix of frantic and exuberant.]

Doll's here! I'm off ta get her right now on Ruby. If ya wanna follow, I left Caesar in yer PC, use him ta follow!

[The Zebstrika is a bit of a tricky thing, but he's a good kid and he'll listen to Snake for this after Joker's warning.]

[Oh, you can bet he is dropping whatever it is he is doing, taking the pokèmon, getting his pokèmon to explain the situation and answering any questions the Zebstrika has. Then for once he puts his pokèmon in their pokèballs so they can ride as fast as possible to catch up.]

This is Invidia to all members of the Eve's Garden Circus! I am Ringleader's Zoroark if you do not know.

All members, please be careful with upcoming storm! Stay in a safe place that is away from the water, please and thank you.

Next acts may be delayed, but regardless, Ringleader and Team will be staying in Goldenrod to watch over the main tent. We will update you all in the event that anything happens!

[Ruskin responds instead of Snake, chatting in Pokèmon to Invidia,] Snake has been seeming really restless. I don't think he really wants to stay in the base throughout the storm.

[Invidia returns the favor in kind, but before he can respond, a certain little Mime Jr. is shoving her way into the screen and pushing at his face]

Then stay with us! If anyone tries to give you trouble about it, we'll really show them whatsfor!

[Ruskin nods and ends the feed as she goes off to bother Snake into leaving. It isn't much longer before Snake shows up at Joker's place. He knocks gently and waits for Joker- or his pokèmon- to open the door.

[What greets Snake at the open door isn't Joker, but what probably seems like every one of his Pokemon. There's a Zoroark and Mime Jr. of course, and a Purrloin and a Meowth, a wobbly young Deerling, and a Meganium happily wrapping his vines around him in what's probably a hug.]

[In the background is Joker, laughing a bit at the whole big mess.]

[Snake is taken by surprise and lets the pokèmon greet him as they wish while his snakes greet Joker's team with playful headbutts.]

Alright, alright you lot, back up! Or at least drag him inside now.

[It's the Meganium who does that, taking steps backwards to pull the whole mess inside. Angel seems to have wasted no time chattering away, latching onto any snake that gets close enough for her to hug.]

Make yer way here alright?

[John doesn't seem to be enjoying Angel latching onto him, so instead Ruskin takes over, nudging his way in between them. Snake is looking rather ruffled and overwhelmed, but also a bit amused.]

It was fine until I had Angel hanging off of me, says John.

[Something that might be "you'll take hugs and like them!" might come from Angel's corner.]

Heh, she's just excited ta see ya. We all are.

Ya sure we're safer than back there?

[He doesn't elaborate where 'there' is.]

We are members of Eve's Garden Circus first, says Gaskell.

[John doesn't say anything, but he does look like he'd like to disagree.]

Hey. I caught your Onix today. I'm still in Union Cave, so it might take a while for you to get it.

It's okay, we're patient.

I can send it over to you once we get back to Violet City.

There's actually a lot of them in here. They blend in pretty well.

"We'll have to go meet them some day soon," says Ruskin.

You'll want to be careful when you decide to visit. It can be pretty tricky.

You can tell a lot from just taste! Well, a snake can. We can taste different paths and what might be waiting at the end of them! says Gaskell.

...Am I talking to the trainer or his snakes? I just want to make sure.

Yes, says Gaskell.

So yes to it being the trainer and yes to being the Pokemon, too?

Yes, says John.

How many people am I talk to, then?

There's four of us, but Snake doesn't like talking much, says John.

That's okay. There's nothing wrong with being quiet.

DON'T READ THIS u will get kissed on the nearest possible wednesday by ur crush. Tomorrow will be the best day ever and u will catch a rare pokemon. There are consiquences for ignoring this, u will get chased by 50 beedrills and sprayed by a skuntank!!!!11!

[Snake hunts Joker down after getting the message. He speaks as he tries to catch his breath,]

I... I don't have five people to send this to! says John.

[The Zoroark besides Joker looks maybe a bit guilty, but the redhead himself just takes it in stride as he pats Snake's head reassuringly.]

Breathe now! Ya still got plenty a time, don't worry. I know prolly 20 folks by now 'round here, ya can take some a mine!

[Snake nods and relaxes a bit. He knows Joker wouldn't let him suffer the consequences if he had any way to stop it, and according to the poorly written curse he would be fine if he just sends it to others. He knew that he shouldn't send it to Denzel at least. He was pretty sure Denzel didn't have too many people outside of the circus as real friends, so Snake could not give it to him in good conscience.]

Where did this message even start, says Gaskell?

Not too sure, ta be honest. It didn't come with a name.

[Invidia suddenly makes a small noise as he tugs on Joker's cape, and the ringleader corrects himself.]

Oh, but Invidia thinks there might be somethin' off about it, 'tho he doesn't know what it is.

What does he mean? says Gaskell.

Somethin' about the codin' or whatnot. That sorta thing goes right over my head, I'm afraid.

Coding? [As far as Snake is concerned the devices just run on magic. He's gotten the basic hang of using them, but little clue as to how it works.]

[Joker gives a shrug.]

Sometin' ta do with numbers... I've heard about it, but that's all I know. Too complicated for me. I can do my sums and that's it.

[Snake will find a scarf, hat, and mittens set based on Seviper's colors wrapped around a Snivy egg delivered to him one morning. There is a card along with it written in neat script.]

"Happy birthday, Snake! Elizabeth remembered, too, so she made sure that she could get you a present. She says she's confident that you'll take care of her offspring, and so am I.

[Snake is wearing the winter set with only a cloak and his usual costume. He's sitting outside with all his pokèmon and the egg is snuggled into another thick off-white scarf on his lap.] Thank you. I had forgotten, says John.

[Snake will be receiving a nicely wrapped bag of chocolates today! His are all in the shape of little Ekans. Along with the box there is a note:]
