Shinki Info - The Far Shore
May. 14th, 2018 12:46 pmCHARACTER: Snake
CANON: Kuroshitsuji
VESSEL NAME & LOCATION: Iyou 蛇踊 (いよう)
VESSEL FORM: A giant Jameson's Mamba.
POWER: To communicate with and control snakes. This power would allow mortal snakes to be able to attack ayakashi while it is active, and only while it is active. This power is limited to non-supernatural snakes as well (so it would not work on another Shinki or a snake ayakashi). This power is granted to his God, differentiating it from his canon power.
GOD: Marinette Dupain-Cheng
EXP POINTS: 10
CAUSE OF DEATH: Drowning. Instead of getting stuck on the other side of the watertight doors, Snake gets trapped with Ciel and Lizzie. He gets those two and some of his snakes into the vent to protect them before slipping back into the water and drowning himself.

Act 17 Video || Cianwood action
Jul. 18th, 2015 08:23 pm[The camera shows a shiny Feebas and several snake-pokèmon playing in the surf at a beach. Snake doesn't bother turning the camera around quite yet, though he does speak.]
Travelling can be fun too. The beach here is nice, says Quincey.
This is Cianwood. Does anyone else know of interesting places to go, says Gaskell.

Act 15 || Video
Feb. 8th, 2015 07:02 pm[Snake is sitting with his shiny Feebas on his lap and a servine sitting next to him, looking pleased as punch. Snake starts out with a rather proud and refined voice as he translates for the servine, Thomas.]
I evolved last night! I wanted to wait until people were awake to announce my progress! I'm going to be the strongest pokèmon in the world! says Thomas.
[Snake says it with a straight back and raised chin, mimicking all but Thomas's folded leafy hands. They relax and look to the feebas at the same time.]
Does anyone out there know much about beauty? Letitia wants to learn how to be more beautiful. She says she doesn't like when people call her ugly, so we thought we should help somehow, says Thomas.
[And the purple fish isn't exactly a pretty sight. It seriously seems like more makeup might just make the fish look worse. Even Snake is dubious, but more of because it seems odd to put makeup on a pokèmon.]

Act 14 || Evolution
Jan. 27th, 2015 08:02 pm[Snake isn't on the camera. Instead there is a proud - if roughed up - dratini flashing white as her shape begins to change. Soon the pokèmon more than doubles in length to become a dragonair. She finishes her evolution with a cheerful cry. Snake walks in from off screen and offers Zola his arm. She spins around it, barely touching it, before wrapping herself around him and rubbing her head against his cheek. Snake gently touches her head, with the hint of a smile on his lips.
He doesn't say anything before ending the feed. He figures not much needs to be said. If people were interested they would respond, and he would talk then. But for now he's just going to enjoy a proud, quiet moment with Zola, the first pokèmon of his to evolve.]

Act 13 || What do I do with a fish!?
Jan. 9th, 2015 12:05 pm[A very confused Snake is aiming the pokègear at a purple fish in a bucket of water at the circus.]
How do you train a fish? asks Gaskell.
It just flops around a bunch. Is it broken? asks John.

[Snake seems to be fighting with his new Snivy, Thomas, over a wrapped present. If there is any arguing going on, it would seem to only be in the silent language Snake uses with his snake pokèmon.
Finally Zola, a dratini, comes over, plucking the gift from both of them, but handing it back to Snake. The scaled man finally tosses it into a decent sized box of presents, filled to the brim. He doesn't seem to realize that he's being recorded until he finally looks at the camera and blushes deeply as his Ekans (who is behind the filming) hisses a laugh.]
John!
...
[Snake crosses his arms and pouts at John the Ekans and then at the Snivy. He sighs and subtly rolls his eyes at them.]
...We got presents for everyone, says Gaskell.

[Snake is looking a bit more nervous than usual, but that isn't stopping him from giving each pokèmon their own 'voice' as he translates for them. If he's translating.]
According to Maka, today can be Snake's birthday because it is a date he likes, says John.
Great Expectations started to appear in the weekly serial All Year Round on December 1st in 1860, says Ruskin.
I would like to have some cake with some friends, if anyone is free, says Quincy.
[He looks around nervously before ending the message. He's sure at least a few of the people here would be interested in joining him.]

[The area around Snake is dark, but the pokègear emits enough light that some trees can be seen behind him.
He stares into the screen while his Ekans wraps himself around Snake's shoulders. Finally he speaks in a voice that seems sweet, but has a hint of poison to it:]
We seem to be lost in Ilex Forest. Last time we passed through here with no trouble, but I tried to find a short-cut through the trees, says John. [As he adds on "says John" he uses a different voice. His own for any who could pick up the slight difference in ease that he has between the voices.]
[Snake pursed his lips and sighs at the camera before ending his message. He really didn't want to admit that he got lost, but lost he was. Attempting to stand on his onix's head and look above the trees just got him smashed into a lot of branches and riled up a bunch of bird pokèmon.]

[Snake seems to be setting the camera up to record in the main tent of the Circus, even though there are no shows set for this time slot. His Onix, Quincy, is the only pokèmon out at the time, and is waiting patiently in the ring.
Once the video is angled correctly Snake walks away from the camera. He has five pokèballs on his belt now, but it seems for once most of his pokèmon are inside their pokèballs.
He jumps onto Quincy's tail, and Quincy immediately rises and turns, seeming to be trying to attack Snake, but snake doges by jumping over to the next boulder that forms this snake's body, timed just as Quincy raises his tail to try to get Snake.
The pair repeats this, moving up along Quincy's body until Quincy can't make a sharp enough turn to get his head to bite at Snake. It creates a fluid wave along the massive snake, and once the wave cannot continue, snake releases his two Sevipers, dancing away as they strike at his feet. Meanwhile Quincy raises and lowers his head, seeming to try to shake Snake off as his entire body keeps up the wave now.
He moves up two more boulders on Quincy's body and then releases his Ekans onto his shoulders, winding his arms so the Ekans cannot get a good angle to strike from. This twisting dance lasts until he makes it to Quincy's head, where Snake releases a Dratini, Zola, that immediately uses Double Team just before moving into using Dragon Dance around Snake and his other pokèmon.
The little dragon flies around them as she dances, and with her dance the whole group keeps turning to watch her. Quincy slowly lowers his head more and more, making the waving motion less and less extreme as Zola keeps up her own hypnotic dance. At first it is chaos as they all seem to counter each other's movements, but the other pokèmon begin to sway and move with Zola's dance more, and Snake fits his movements so that he becomes an extension of the snakes around him.
Finally Quincy rests his head on the floor, and Snake jumps off with a spin. He then throws his pokèballs into the air to recall each pokemon in a simplified juggle. At the pokèball's highest point one pokèmon is returned, and the next pokèball is tossed into the air as the prior is shifted to his other hand and put back onto his belt. First the Ekans, then the Sevipers, then Quincy, and finally Zola. The dance was fairly smooth, but a trained eye could notice some imperfections along the way, but most of them minor details.
He takes a deep breath and then releases all of them again. They all move in around him. nuzzling themselves against their trainer. Quincy knocks over Snake, and his sevipers take the chance to get on top of him so he could no longer escape the cuddle attack.
Snake finally manages to escape and walks over to his 'gear and turns off the video, apparently not realizing he had broadcast the video, not just record it for the sake of more practice.

[Snake is using a deep but smooth voice to speak for his Seviper, Gaskell. Some may be confused as Snake is speaking from off screen, letting Gaskell have the spotlight to himself.] We've been staying in Goldenrod for a long time now. It's great here, but we really want to do some exploring, but we can't decide where we are going to go. We aren't even entirely sure of places to go. There are a lot of trainers that travel, so we were wondering if anyone could offer us ideas or suggestions, [And the illusion would have remained that the snake is speaking if Snake didn't add in his own voice,] says Gaskell.
Act 7 --Video
Aug. 2nd, 2014 03:02 pmWould anyone be willing to trade an Onix for a Budew? says Elizabeth.
[Snake takes on a lighter pitch and curious tone as he speaks, but changes to a much softer tone as he gently adds which pokèmon is speaking.]
We are always looking for new acts for the circus too, says John. [This time he adopted a more masculine tone with a hint of pride.]
[Then a dratini pokes her head into the screen and raises her tail to wave at anyone watching. Snake speaks for her with a bell-like quality,] I'm Ouida. It is very nice to meet all of you, says Ouida.
[Ruskin looks proud and uses his usual voice for her,]She's our newest member! says Ruskin.

Act 6 --Video
Jun. 30th, 2014 01:17 amWe give up, says John.
[Snake is on the screen with his pokèmon, making fitting into the frame a bit tight.]
Traveling on foot takes a long time, especially when you are traveling a lot. We don't want to keep borrowing Joker's Zebstrika. Does anyone have suggestions on where to get a pokèmon good for travel, says Gaskell?
Though we were hoping to keep our party to being only snakes, says John.

Act 5 Video
May. 15th, 2014 12:15 pm[Snake is sitting in the National Park by the water fountain. He and his two Sevipers and his Ekans are all enjoying the sun, the cool mist from the fountain, and some pokèfood together. Snake doesn't seem to realize that Elizabeth has turned on his pokègear and is recording all of them just having a lazy day.
Snake sighs contently and mutters softly,]
So nice out...
