Character Name: Snake
Series: Kuroshitsuji
Gender: Male
Age & Canon Point: Unknown (appears somewhere between ~15-23) Chapter 52, right after he's told that he should “Straighten up and have some confidence”.
Requested Sponsor: Bloodstone
Entry position (Cadet, SeeD, Instructor, other): Cadet
History: http://kuroshitsuji.wikia.com/wiki/Snake There is not much offered regarding his youth, however it is shown that he was abused in the circus he was in prior to Noah's Ark. I play his past as he had been in that circus since he can remember, however he rarely speaks about his past.
Garden History: N/A
Abilities & Physical Abnormalities: Snake appears to be part snake, giving him his name. He has scales that cover his skin and are partially translucent. His eyes also feature a slit pupil and yellow irises and his incisors are elongated to the length of He has the ability to communicate with snakes as well, who are able to inform him of things his own senses (Which are more akin to human) might not be able to pick up. Snake seems to actually be part snake- while he is not actually cold-blooded, a snake charming flute is shown to work on him and cause him to pass out. In addition, even normally aggressive snakes (like the Bandy-bandy snake that is seen with him, and a large unnamed anaconda seen when he brings all of his snakes to the Phantomhive mansion) listen to him and will not be aggressive if he requests it of them.
Personality:Snake is extremely shy. It takes him time to warm up to people, having gotten used to people seeing him as nothing more than a freak. He doesn't give his trust very easily to people because he has been hurt so many times in the past. Once he does decide to put his faith into someone he is loyal, even if he won't open up completely. He also doesn't always share everything he knows. He doesn't warn the rest of the first-tier members when Ciel and Sebastian look through the tents, and when the first-tier members go missing, he doesn't offer much information to the other members, letting them figure what to do on their own. He was grieving and dislikes being relied on by others, so he left instead of answering their questions well. He can also be playful at times. He sometimes comes off as sarcastic, and he even flirts with Dagger through Emily.
He has never had a great number of friends besides his snakes, so when he does have a friend, they are that much more precious to him. He feels awkward in front of strange people and in busy places. He's extremely self-conscious because of his appearance and believes that he won't fit into normal society because of it. While it might not deeply upset him, he does wish he could be accepted by people for who he is. Because of how shy he is, almost every time he says something, he is actually speaking for one of his snakes. His snakes are loyal to him, and help him out by being his voice as much as their own voice. Each one of his snakes also has a simple, if distinct, personality of their own as I will expand on in "anything else".
Snake does speak for himself a few times, including when he says, "It's lonely being by yourself...." Even when accompanied by his snakes, without a human connection, he feels extremely lonely. It was bad enough that the next story arc- a lock-door murder mystery- was actually set off because Snake had sent in one of his snakes to try to kill Ciel. Normally he is shy, but that loss was strong enough to drive Snake to attempt murder. Two of the other few times he has spoken for himself, it has been about how good the food on the ship tasted, showing his own personal appreciation for the luxury of fine food, as well as his kindness and how loyal he is to his snakes when he decides to share it with them.
Even with the hardships he has had, he keeps hope alive, even if it falters sometimes. He would rather take action than just lay back and let things happen. The one problem with that is that he doesn't always go out of his way to ask what is going on, so he is easily left out of things.
What are your plans for the character in-game? I plan on having Snake most importantly make new friends and learn to come out of his shell a bit. Secondly, I plan on him working as a cadet and aiming to eventually focus on covert operations or intelligence.
Anything else?Notes on the personality of his snakes:
Wordsworth- Proud, condescending, but also friendly
Webster- Also proud, born on island of Quimada Grande, poison should kill in 30 seconds, talks about venom.
Oscar- really sharp sense of smell, observant, closest to Snake's actual self, speaks for majority.
Wilde- Intense, enjoys pleasures, feels emotions strongly
Emily- Sweet, encouraging, slightly flirtatious - bandy-bandy snake
Keats- practical, logical, good sense of direction. Diamond patterns
Bronte- Doesn't speak much. Seems to like to watch more, studying people.
Goethe- Doesn't speak much, seems almost dismissive.
Dan- Self-doubting, puts others before self, shares -tiny, small enough to stay behind Snake's ear.
Because he only communicates through his snakes, of of the first things he would do is to request to keep his snakes in the garden- so long as they train with him. He already uses them to gather information , and would be willing to do whatever was asked of him to keep his snakes with him.

iii) What role do you take when working in a group? “I listen and help where I can be useful,” says Oscar.
iv) How talkative are you around other people? “I am rather talkative,” says Emily, “but I don’t speak much, “ says Oscar.
v) What three things would you want to have with you on a desert island? State your reasoning. “Are you counting snakes as things?” asks Webster. “A steel knife, an axe, and flint,” says Keats, “Because that’s all we need,” says Keats.

xiii) Lastly, how do you feel about cabbages? “Cabbages? Do many people have feelings on cabbages?” says Wilde.
iii) Snake wanders through the streets of Esthar, hoping to learn more of it to help with his intelligence class. He knew people didn't much like outsiders, and more importantly, they didn't like people with strange powers, but he thought he would be more prepared for the whispers and pointing. While in the Garden, people hadn't pointed out his skin nearly as often as they did at home, but this reminded him of the ship he had served on for Smile. The ladies whispering loud enough for him to hear and laughing about it was bad enough, but the people here were even worse. He wanted nothing more than to go back to the Garden where he was more welcome, but he came here for a reason, and he didn't want to leave yet. He kept holding his head up, adjusting his cadet uniform and trying to remind himself how well he was doing in his schooling. He was going to be one of the SeeD! Oscar darted his tongue out at Snake reassuringly, urging on his wavering confidence. “Don't let them get to you,” Emily informs him, making him smile the slightest bit. His voice is soft, feeling a bit better to his his snakes by his side, “Thank you”. He still felt alone, but his snakes at least could help him through the worst.
